This Little Pig Lost Her Family But This Loving Dog Decided To Adopt Her As One Of Her Own

Katjinga is a Rhodesian Ridgeback breed dog, and Paulinchen is an absolutely lovely, bellied two-week-old young sow who lost her mother but was thankfully adopted by Katjinga when she decided to adopt her.

The dog did not hesitate to take care of Paulinchen, treating her as one of her own; she fell in love with this adorable little pig at first sight and vowed to save her life.

Paulinchen and Katjinga have curled up carefully, demonstrating that they are unconcerned with the difference in species; a very unique bond has formed between them. The girl even nursed the pig.

Roland stated:

“Wild pigs roam our property, and a sow gave birth to a litter of five in our woodland. I discovered Paulinchen alone and she was quite chilly when I scooped her up.”

Katjinga raised the little child as her own.
Roland continued:

“I was convinced that some local foxes would have grabbed the pig that night, so I brought it home and handed it to Katjinga. I had just finished with a litter that is now 10 months old, so I believed there was a chance I could take on the responsibility of caring for it.”

According to Roland:

“Katjinga is the most wonderful mother I could imagine. She was smitten with the small swine. She started cleaning it right away, as if it were one of her own puppies. She started producing milk again a few days later to breastfeed the sow. She clearly thought of her as her own child.”
